Bulletin 3 LIFE EcoTimberCell available
We have published our third LIFE EcoTimberCell project newsletter. You can consult it in Spanish, Galician, Catalan and English, in the Resources section of our website.
The third LIFE EcoTimberCell newsletter is dedicated to the EcoTimber Cell System Enhanced Board (Tablex). It presents this wood fibre board, made without artificial binding agents, from wood residues from nearby plantations and with sustainable forest management.
In addition, this bulletin incorporates the main results obtained from the work of characterization of the board, in which its physical and mechanical properties have been determined. A section is dedicated to "Non-destructive methods as an evaluation tool", indicating that the USlab equipment has been used as an ultrasound method in the characterization of the board.
It also compiles the news associated with the project.
