Guidance for licensing environmental technologies. Study model: EcoTimberCell
In the framework of the LIFE EcoTimberCell project, we have prepared a guide to help those who intend to license a technology.
For the drafting of this Guide for licensing environmental technologies, we have followed as a case study the EcoTimberCell technology, a technology developed in the LIFE EcoTimberCell project in which ecological cellular structural systems based on wood are developed.
In the document, considering the economic valuation of the EcoTimberCell technology and the business plan developed for the market launch of a company commercialising the products and systems developed, we have included the analysis of how to establish the legal framework to execute the licensing of the EcoTimberCell technology, as well as the necessary negotiations and agreements to reach with entities interested in the EcoTimberCell systems. In this way, through the case study, we present this guide to support other projects in the licensing of environmental technologies.
